Room maintenance needs attention! ! We faced temperature control issues! The bathrooms are poorly designed and very cramped! There's a lack of basic amenities that just shouldn’t be missing!

Excellent rooftop bar experience

Dining at The Empire Hotel Rooftop is a real treat with stunning skyline views and a chill ambiance—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Plus, the nearby eateries like The Smith and Rosa Mexicano serve up some serious bites that’ll make your taste buds sing! And let’s not forget, the friendly staff kept the vibes high during my stay.

Now, the room? It felt a bit cramped with hardly any storage—just a closet that barely fit my bags. The lack of air conditioning made it a little stuffy, and I caught a whiff of something funky near the entrance.

Great location by Lincoln Center! The sweet little pool was perfect for a cool down after exploring, and my spacious room was a cozy retreat on the tenth floor.

But honestly, what’s up with the heating? It sounded like a marching band. I half expected them to ask me to join in.

Improved seating options in the common areas would help.

I loved the rooftop bar's great cocktails and fantastic views. The shower had an awesome rainfall feature. Just wished the room wasn’t as musty as it appeared in photos. Would maybe stay again.

The location was perfect—just a hop away from Central Park, and it felt like being in the heart of New York's dramatic theater scene! The bed was softer than a cloud, and sleeping in it felt like being cradled by friendly, fluffy marshmallows. the staff was more charming than a magician pulling rabbits out of a hat, always ready with a smile and a helpful tip.

my stay was pretty awesome at this hotel. i previously stayed in another place in new york that didn’t live up to my expectations, but this one really exceeded them! the location was prime, close to the lincoln center, and the staff was super friendly.

I had a lovely stay at the Empire Hotel. The rooftop views offered a perfect escape, and the staff consistently provided a friendly atmosphere. I found the limited pool hours a bit inconvenient. a wonderful location to explore New York City.

The decor was warm and inviting, creating a cozy atmosphere, while the staff were very attentive, assisting me with my luggage and providing excellent recommendations for nearby cafes and attractions.

More comfortable seating in the lobby area would help.

I loved the spacious junior suite with two double beds. The modern lobby and mezzanine area created a cool vibe. Location was fantastic for the NYC marathon. Enjoyed the accessibility to local attractions. A very comfy stay overall! 😊

Even after switching rooms, I found minimal advantages, as heating was inefficient and left a chill creeping through a drafty window. Decor feels outdated. things like worn bathroom handles and television options limit your in-room experience. Overwhelming smell seeped in from hallways made for an uninviting atmosphere at times, and lack of coffee-making facilities was hampered by limited local options. Those accustomed to daily breakfast might find a gap without it here.
